ABOUT THE JOUR DE LA NUIT:
Open to all, the Jour de la nuit is a great opportunity to raise awareness about light pollution, the protection of nocturnal biodiversity and the beauty of the starry sky.
The special event, which will take place on Saturday October 12, 2024 , has existed for many years in France and has contributed to the development of a fairer national lighting policy.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE :
For the 16th edition, we want to see all of Quebec join the Jour de la nuit thanks to your participation .
Take inspiration from everything that is organized in France and plan your own activities: artistic evenings dedicated to the night, nature and astronomy outings, reading stories by the fire... Why not turning off the lights allowing you to rediscover the starry sky in towns and villages as is done in France ?
All events will be listed on the website www.jourdelanuit.fr from July. In the meantime, find the 650 events for the year 2023 .
By joining this major festive and participatory action, the different actors are involved in a major march towards the preservation of the environment, the night and biodiversity while fighting against energy waste. Every gesture counts.
